ELIZA MARSHAL IN CONCERT - ETERNAL BIRTH

World-renowned flautist and composer (and a founder of folk supergroup Ranagri) Eliza Marshall steps forward solo with her debut album Eternal Birth – a deeply personal work exploring cycles of life, legacy and connection to the natural world.
Drawing on a rich palette of flutes, whistles and bansuri, alongside subtle electronics, percussion and spoken word, Eliza creates a cinematic, transportive live experience that moves between the intimate and the expansive. Rooted in global traditions but shaped through a contemporary lens, her performances resonate across folk, classical and world music audiences.
Developed through recordings in both the UK and Senegal, Eternal Birth carries a sense of place, movement and story - this is an invitation into a grounded yet atmospheric and otherworldly live musical experience.

SAM KELLY IN CONCERT

Sam Kelly is a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning musician, singer, songwriter, and producer from Norfolk, UK. Described by legendary folk broadcaster Mike Harding as ‘one of my favourite singers ever’ and by Cara Dillon as ‘an amazing singer with so much soul’, Sam has become one of the most accomplished and well-respected performers on the UK folk scene. His band The Lost Boys are festival favourites across the UK and beyond, and as an accompanist on guitar and Irish bouzouki, his portfolio includes playing with the likes of Kate Rusby, Seth Lakeman, John McCusker, Phil Beer, and Katherine Priddy.
He is also is a published songwriter, with his music being used on Sky Sports, Sky Arts, Channel 4, Channel 5, as well as BBC Radio 1, 2, and 3. A captivating and versatile performer with impressive prowess as both a vocalist and instrumentalist, Sam showcases varied material from all the projects he has been involved with, with a sound that is strongly influenced by his Irish heritage.

Popular with our audiences since our early days, both in concert playing their lively self-penned material and for our more contemplative Winter Solstice Concert which sells out every year! BRYONY GRIFFITH AND ALICE JONES IN CONCERT

Legend has it, that "Yorkshire Folk do things differently". Folk Duo Bryony and Alice certainly deliver on that front. Their individual talents combine to create something quite special and unique.
Apart from their musical talents, Bryony and Alice have honed their stagecraft skills to a higher level, bringing humour, satire and a unique brand of wit to every stage show. Their shows at Shrewsbury Folk Festival in 2025 were greeted by hugely enthusiastic audiences. Laughter and amazement created a heady mix, leaving everyone wanting more!
Well known in Yorkshire, for their local knowledge and understanding of what makes people "tick", their show translates easily into concerts everywhere. A feature of the youth of many of our regular audience, the music of the Beatles continues to delight and uplift audiences everywhere. Of course, for many, the songs are well-loved and familiar, but come along and indulge your inner teenage self, we promise that you will leave the show feeling uplifted and truly charmed.
Authentic instrumentals, vocal harmonies are a real feature of this Band's concerts.

VIKKI CLAYTON IN CONCERT

In the early 80s, Vikki was Invited to sing with Ragged Heroes, a cult Folk Rock band, she thrived! "I'd found my forte. I'd always kicked around with rock bands and played in folk clubs but here was a chance to combine my two favourite musical loves." "Ragged Heroes Annual" was released to much acclaim and notice was taken of Vikki's lovely voice. They were invited to perform at the Cropredy Festival in 1984 and gigs started to escalate. However the band drifted apart and eventually called it a day because " our bar tab usually came to more than our fee"
Then somebody sent Fairport Convention a copy of Vikki's album "Lost Lady Found". At the same time Jerry Donahue heard Vikki sing and was moved to tears because she sounded so much like Sandy Denny. Following these two events was a long period of appearing with Fairport Convention, fronting the newly formed Fotheringhay and forming her own band featuring stellar performers Clive Bunker, Fred T Baker and Chris Conway.

MIRANDA SYKES IN CONCERT

Miranda started her career as a musician in 1996 at the age of 18, playing bass guitar in a country rock band. After two years touring and playing for line-dancing in working men's clubs across Britain, folk-rock band Pressgang were looking for a bass player. Miranda spent the next two years touring internationally with them. After a few years of musical promiscuity playing with Firebrand, Little Johnny England, Robb Johnson, Bill Jones, Steafan Hannigan, Reg Meuross, Kirsty McGee, The Phil Beer Band, Martyn Joseph and The Scoville Units; Miranda deputised for Pete Zorn in the 2004 Show Of Hands festival band line up. She worked with them for the next 20 years.
Miranda also found time for a short tour and album with the Miranda Sykes Band in 2005, duo album tours with mandolin player Rex Preston and two solo albums.
2027 will see her touring with vocal group Daphne’s Flight, The Phil Beer Trio, Sykes Causley Duo, and a new solo album and tour “Time & Space’.

ANNA MASSIE IN CONCERT

Equally at home as accompanist or melody player, Anna Massie is one of Scotland’s foremost guitarists. As well as being a skilled multi-instrumentalist and singer renowned for her work with Blazin’ Fiddles and RANT, she also presents BBC Radio Scotland’s award-winning flagship trad music programme, Travelling Folk. (Trad Music in the Media, Scots Trad Music Awards 2023).
Three-time nominee for Best Instrumentalist at the Scots Trad Music Awards, 2021 winner of the Trad Music in the Media award for her Black Isle Correspondent work and 2022 Producer of the Year award, Anna is a highly talented musician, presenter and producer.
2024 has seen her release her long-awaited solo album Two Down and embarking on solo touring throughout the year and into 2025.

The Duo Chris While and Julie Matthews has been one of the leading forces in the British singer/songwriter scene for over 30 years.

BROOKS WILLIAMS IN CONCERT

One of those select ‘'how on earth does he do it?” artists, Brooks can sing, write, and, man, oh man, can he play guitar!
Cambridge UK-based, Statesboro, Georgia US-born, admired by listeners and fellow musicians, he has been a leading light on the acoustic music scene for 30 years. FATEA says he shows “the greatest level of true expertise.” Listed as one of the ‘Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists,’ his talent is evident, sliding in and out of folk, blues and country.
Brooks left his Georgia home in his late teens and moved to Boston at the height of the 1990’s acoustic music renaissance. His apprenticeship was in the bars and clubs in New York and New England, supporting artists like Shawn Colvin, Chris Smither, Billy Bragg and Taj Mahal.
Diamond Days is his latest album, At The Barrier calls it a “stunning collection from the chocolate-voiced, guitar maestro.” Never shy of travelling, the list of festivals he has played is staggering. Newport, Cropredy, Cambridge, Philadelphia, Shrewsbury...

MARTYN JOSEPH IN CONCERT

Martyn Joseph is a completely unique and mind-blowing artist. Whatever think you know about singer songwriters, rip it all up. For one man and a guitar he creates a performance with a huge far-reaching sound that is energetic, compelling, and passionate. Be it to two hundred or twenty thousand, he blows the crowd away night after night.
After being signed to Sony Music in the early ’90’s, for whom he recorded 2 albums and achieved Top 40 chart success, Martyn became a trailblazer for independent musicians. He launched his own record label in 1999 forging a successful career on the internet, ahead of many other artists.
Often compared with Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn and Dave Matthews, he has created his own style and reputation as a mesmerising live performer and stands in his own right, built on a reputation for giving what thousands have described as the best live music experience of their lives. In April 2019 he won a “Wales Folk Award” for “Here Come the Young”
